Dads in Transition
Richard Clayter, Director of Programs at the Family Nurturing Center will present on the following areas:
- Basic techniques to use while communicating with male clients
- Understanding men’s needs and their roles as fathers
- Roles of practitioners in eliminating barriers for fathers who are interested in parenting their children
- Exploring activities for fathers to enhance their parenting skills

2 CEU’s Awarded. The program has been approved for 2 Social Work Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR. Collaborative of NASW, Boston College and Simmons School of Social Work.
The Father and Family Network is a statewide networking and training group for professionals who work with fathers. The group helps professionals enhance skills, learn new strategies for engaging fathers, and coordinate services across the state.
