Dads in Transition

Richard Clayter, Director of Programs at the Family Nurturing Center will present on the following areas:

  • Basic techniques to use while communicating with male clients
  • Understanding men’s needs and their roles as fathers
  • Roles of practitioners in eliminating barriers for fathers who are interested in parenting their children
  • Exploring activities for fathers to enhance their parenting skills

The Father and Family Network is a statewide networking and training group for professionals who work with fathers. The group helps professionals enhance skills, learn new strategies for engaging fathers, and coordinate services across the state.
