Come explore Pathways to Pages—a new interactive Story Walk experience happening at Father Travassos Park and Kathy Assad Park in the Flint neighborhood of Fall River! \nStarting August 1\, 2025\, families are invited to walk through the park and read a children’s story—one page at a time—mounted along the fence line at kid-height. Each story includes movement prompts that encourage kids to hop\, stretch\, spin\, or tiptoe to the next page\, turning reading into a full-body adventure! \nBut that’s not all! Each park will also feature:\n🌱 Community garden beds where kids can learn about plants and nature\n📚 Little Free Libraries filled with free books to take home*\n🪧 Fun signs and directions to guide your journey and keep everyone moving* \nStories will change every month\, so you can come back again and again for a new tale\, a new adventure\, and new reasons to read together outside. \nPerfect for:\nFamilies with children of all ages \nCaregivers\, grandparents\, neighbors\, and book lovers \nAnyone looking to enjoy the park\, move a little\, and make special memories \n*Coming Soon \nThis program was made possible through the support of a Love Your Block mini-grant from the City of Fall River.

DESCRIPTION:The group meets monthly connecting various agency offerings to the youth of our schools and community\, providing safe activities\, healthy resources\, and expanded learning opportunities. There are regular training sessions that address the prevalent and current needs of our youth. \nMeets monthly on the second Wednesday at 9:00am (some meetings may be virtual\, some in-person) \n10/8\, 11/12\, 12/10\, 1/14\, 2/11\, 3/11\, 4/8\, 5/13\, 6/10 \nRegistration is done monthly per SCP emails (michaela@unfr.org)
