Donate Your Time to the Home Project

Volunteers are what make The Home Project so special. We provide an outlet for our community to come together to help others in a warm, kind environment that fosters collaboration and creativity.

Donate Goods to the Home Project

We collect new and gently used household necessities for families transitioning from temporary to permanent housing in our communities. We collect items such as:

  • Dishes, bows, cups and glasses
  • Flatware (forks, knives, and spoons)
  • Cooking utensils (spatulas, spoons, measuring cups, etc.)
  • Cutting boards and kitchen knives
  • Small kitchen appliances (coffee makers, electric can openers, toasters, microwaves, etc.)
  • Plastic storage containers
  • Pot holders and kitchen towels
  • Pots and pans
  • Baking pans and frying pans
  • Mixing bowls and colanders
  • Bathroom towels (face, hand, and bath)
  • Hair dryers
  • Sheets and blankets (all sizes including crib)
  • Small furniture
  • If you are unsure about an item, ask yourself – “What would I need if I lost everything tomorrow?”

Please contact Jeannie Bettencourt, Outreach Coordinator, at 774-328-2043 to see if we have enough space to accept your donation at this time, and to make arrangements for us to pick it up or have you drop it off.
