The Black Fatherhood Project/Working with Black Fathers

A lack of historical knowledge and perspective has caused many workers to exhibit an uncomfortable feelings working with BIPOC people.
After this training participants will gain a better understanding of cultural competency, and how best to work with BIPOC people, especially BIPOC males.

John O’Neil Director of The Nurturing Fathers’ Program at the Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts. He is also a certified Master Trainer/Consultant for The Center for Growth & Development. He regularly facilitates groups, workshops, trainings, and presentations across the state of Massachusetts, and throughout New England, to promote fatherhood engagement and responsible fatherhood.
